HSR: Version 4.1 Warps Recommendation, Preparing for Anniversary!

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 Warps have been announced recently. With many new characters in future versions and several strong characters getting reruns, how to choose has become a question! Today, let's discuss pulling recommendations for the Warps.

1. 4.1 Version New Character - Ashveil

The Ashveil Warp will last throughout Version 4.1. From Version 4.0 to 4.2, there are 5 new characters. Only Ashveil is not on the Path of Elation but on the Path of The Hunt.

HSR Ashveil

In the preview livestream demonstration, Ashveil was not teamed with any Elation characters at all but instead formed a team with Sunday, Tribbie, and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae, with Ashveil as the sole DPS. Ashveil has Follow-Up Attacks, so they might also fit into Follow-Up Attack teams as a dual DPS setup, for example, Ashveil + Feixiao. Ashveil's team compositions are quite flexible.

However, no matter how Ashveil is teamed up, their strength likely cannot surpass the new Elation team system from Version 4.0. Players who use Follow-Up Attack teams also don't need to pull for Ashveil. It's still recommended to save Stellar Jade and wait to pull for Silver Wolf LV.999 or Evanescia in Version 4.2. Only players who truly love the character should pull for Ashveil.

2. 4.1 Version First Half Rerun - Hyacine

Since Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae is given for free, and the veteran survival characters Huohuo and Fu Xuan are usable again in the major Version 4.0 update, with Huohuo scheduled for buffs in Version 4.2 and Fu Xuan having a chance to be obtained off-Warp, most players are not lacking in survival options. Even if they are, a survival character suitable for the new Elation system will likely be released later. Hyacine is the strongest survival slot in the Amphoreus Remembrance team but offers no particular advantage in the Planarcadia Elation team, so players who don't have her don't need to pull.

Honkai Star Rail Hyacine

For players who already have Hyacine and play Remembrance teams, her signature Light Cone provides a significant upgrade, so it's worth considering pulling for. However, it's only worth considering, not a must-pull, because considering the Version 4.0 environment that favors Elation teams, the current semi-formed Elation team of Sparxie + Yao Guang is already on par with the Remembrance fleet. Therefore, it's more recommended to invest in the new Elation team rather than strengthening the old one. Hyacine's E1 is even less necessary; an E0S1 Hyacine is already a complete and very effective unit in Remembrance teams.

3. 4.1 Version Second Half Rerun - Boothill

After The Dahlia's release, Super Break teams became viable, but the main beneficiary of the buff is Firefly, who is also scheduled for further enhancements in Version 4.2. Therefore, from a strength perspective, it's still recommended to play a Firefly team for Super Break.

Honkai Star Rail Boothill

Boothill only has single-target attacks, making him suitable only for the Forgotten Hall and Apocalyptic Shadow, and not for Pure Fiction. Boothill needs to stack his talent's advantage before he can start dealing significant damage, requiring careful manual rotation planning. For casual players who rely on auto-battle, the experience isn't great. Neither Boothill himself nor his signature Light Cone "Sailing Towards a Second Life" is a recommended pull because he's difficult to field effectively. Only players who truly love the character should consider pulling, and it's best to have Fugue and The Dahlia as his teammates.

Version 4.1 is relatively short, lasting only 4 weeks, so Version 4.2 will arrive soon. Version 4.2 is the important anniversary version. It's recommended to save your Stellar Jade for Version 4.2 to pull for the new Elation characters, Silver Wolf LV.999 or Evanescia. So, how do you plan to pull on these banners? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments~
