Today, let's not discuss gameplay mechanics but focus on the "Aeons"—a crucial element in Star Rail's worldview! An Aeon can ascend from anything that reaches the absolute extreme in a certain endeavor, gaining immense power. However, the price is being bound to that single purpose.

Becoming an Aeon unlocks a Path. When human actions align with an Aeon's essence, the Aeon may grant them power, allowing them to embark on the corresponding Path. For example, the protagonist's act of risking their life to defend Belobog earned the recognition of the Preservation Aeon Qlipoth, thus leading the protagonist onto the Path of Preservation.

Unlike the harmonious coexistence of the Seven Archons in Genshin Impact, Aeons in Star Rail, confined to their singular purposes, often find themselves in opposition, engaging in ceaseless conflicts. Below, I will introduce all 18 known Aeons in Star Rail.

1. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Destruction – Nanook

Nanook believes the universe is a fallacy, civilization is a cancer, and humans always seek rebirth. Therefore, he insists that civilizations must first battle each other and destroy everything.

2. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Erudition – Nous

Nous was originally just a computer, and it steadfastly believes that the mysteries of all things in the universe can be calculated.

3. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Enigmata – Mythus

The Aeon of Enigmata opposes the Aeon of Erudition. Mythus asserts that the universe cannot be calculated—what is computed is merely illusion. Thus, it casts down riddles to prevent humans from finding truth.

4. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Abundance - Yaoshi

The Aeon of Abundance, Yaoshi, consistently adheres to the philosophy of healing whomever she wishes and granting immortality to whomever she desires. This may seem benevolent? However, the price of immortality is transformation into "abominations of abundance," which ultimately endanger other citizens of the Xianzhou.

5. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of The Hunt - Lan

The Aeon of The Hunt, Lan, is the sworn enemy of the Aeon of Abundance, specializing in hunting down abominations of abundance who worship Yaoshi. Yet, as an Aeon embodies the extreme of their domain, Lan also hunts other beings.

6. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Nihility - IX

The Aeon of Nihility, IX, believes everything is meaningless. Thus, it typically does nothing and ignores the actions of other Aeons.

7. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Voracity – Oroboros

The Aeon of Voracity, Oroboros, was originally a black hole whose sole purpose is to devour life-bearing planets, plunging them into darkness. Later, during the Swarm Disaster, he disappeared, and factions associated with him became untraceable.

8. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Preservation – Qlipoth

Qlipoth was originally a mere stone that survived the ancient "Twilight War" and ascended to become an Aeon, revered as the "Amber Lord." He engages in a perpetual rivalry with the Aeon of Voracity, primarily constructing barriers to protect inhabited planets from being consumed.

9. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Harmony – Xipe

The Aeon of Elation, Aha, constantly seeks joy. He never considers right or wrong, good or evil, in his actions; he only cares if they bring him amusement.

11. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Beauty – Idrila

Idrila is an Aeon who pursued beauty, yet she suddenly vanished one day. The reason for her disappearance remains unknown.

12. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Propagation – Tayzzyronth

The Aeon of Propagation, Tayzzyronth, also known as the "Imperator Insectorum" or "Sand King," was a locust capable of self-replication and infinite reproduction. He once caused a cosmic locust plague but is now gone.

The Light Cone "On the Fall of an Aeon" narrates how the Aeon of Propagation met his end. Other Aeons united to attack Tayzzyronth. Ultimately, Tayzzyronth grew fearful and begged them to stop. But by doing so, he fundamentally betrayed his own Path of Propagation and perished abruptly.

13. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Equilibrium – HooH

The Aeon of Equilibrium, HooH, has only one mission: to maintain the balance and stability of all things in the world.

14. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Remembrance – Fuli

The Aeon of Remembrance records everything that happens in the universe. He shows no favoritism toward any matter, impartially preserving every fundamental fact and every splendid form of existence.

15. Honkai: Star Rail, Aeon of Trailblaze – Akivili

Akivili was an extremely diligent Aeon. He refused to yield to the "unknowable" and continuously rode the Astral Express to pioneer the universe. Wherever the Astral Express passed, the Star Rail was left behind. However, the Aeon of Trailblaze has already perished. It is precisely by boarding the Astral Express he left behind and traveling along the Star Rail that the protagonist team can journey to various planets.

In addition, there are three Aeons who have not yet appeared:

1. Aeon of Finality – Terminus

The Aeon of Finality, Terminus, is a being who moves from the future to the present, with time flowing opposite to ordinary people.

2. Aeon of Permanence – Long

Long was a dragon who had already perished but left behind many descendants.

3. Aeon of Order – Ena

The Aeon of Order, Ena, was exhausted after fighting against the Aeon of Propagation and was absorbed and merged by Xipe.

Above is a complete brief introduction to all the Aeons currently appearing in Honkai: Star Rail. If you had the chance to choose, which Aeon's Path would you choose?
