Many friends have been wanting to see content about Currency Wars. Today, let's talk about 8 characters who are relatively weak or niche in regular gameplay but have become very effective in Currency Wars.
Characters like Cyrene, who are already strong and commonly picked in both regular mode and Currency Wars, won't be discussed here. Now, let's take a look together!
Top 8: Aventurine

Aventurine has a "sifting gold from sand" gameplay that can turn you into a tycoon, allowing you to easily chase 3-star, 5-cost cards. Achieving this requires two conditions: first, the Investment Strategy must include Aventurine's exclusive strategy; second, the Investment Environment must have the effect that doubles the refresh probability for cards of a certain cost.
You can start this strategy at Level 6 when the refresh probability for 2-cost cards is doubled. Keep refreshing the shop to buy 2-cost characters. Synthesize other 2-cost characters into 2-star versions and sell them, and synthesize Aventurine into a 3-star version and sell him. Your money will then keep increasing.
Top 7: Qingque
Qingque has an emblem-changing gameplay. You need to give her a Follow-Up Emblem change, but you don't need to assemble the Follow-Up bond; instead, you still assemble the Xianzhou bond. The Follow-Up Emblem has an effect that advances actions after taking action.
Each time Qingque draws a tile, it counts as one action. Paired with Sparkle to recover Skill Points, she can keep drawing tiles, advancing her own action gauge while summoning the Divine Sage, relying on the Divine Sage's damage to defeat enemies.

However, this gameplay requires manual control. No matter how smoothly it's going, you must continue drawing tiles and cannot enable auto-battle.
Top 6: Sampo
Many friends ask how to transition through the early game. If you can't manage the transition, you'll be almost finished by the end of the first plane. Actually, Sampo is a god-tier transition card, costing only 1 credit. Pair him with Asta to activate the 2-Dot bond, and with Pela to activate the 2-Belobog bond.
The damage from both DoT and the Engine of Creation is very high, making clearing the first stage no problem. Once you've collected the rewards before the first stage's Boss, you can switch to the team composition you want to play.

Furthermore, Sampo can equip Speed Boots. When changing team compositions, he can be useful in almost every lineup.
Top 5: Yunli
In regular gameplay, Yunli's damage is somewhat low, and she heavily relies on enemies frequently attacking.

However, in Currency Wars, Yunli functions as a survival/sustain character. She can block enemy attacks and launch counterattacks, being usable even at 1 star. If raised to 2-star, she also deals considerable damage.
Top 4: Black Swan
In regular gameplay, Black Swan is not considered a must-have even in DoT teams. However, she is scheduled to receive buffs in the upcoming Version 4.0.

In Currency Wars, Black Swan is primarily valued for her Bond synergy effect, which has a chance to increase the probability of finding 5-cost characters. This provides greater assurance when trying to upgrade 2-star or even 3-star 5-cost characters later in the game. If you are running a DoT team, Black Swan's damage is also quite substantial.
Top 3: Huohuo

In regular gameplay, Huohuo's ability to sustain/support the team is considered insufficient, leading to relatively low usage. However, in Currency Wars, pairing Huohuo with Hyacine to activate the 2-Healer synergy makes her team very reliable.
Huohuo's functionality in Currency Wars is quite strong; her Ultimate recovers Energy for the entire party and increases their ATK. Furthermore, Huohuo is also a popular choice for Energy-related synergies.
Top 2: Welt Yang
In regular gameplay, Welt Yang is one of the standard banner characters that players least want to pull in the gacha. However, in Currency Wars, even among 5-cost characters, Welt is considered strong enough to be fielded independently.

Welt's Ultimate can delay the combat ending countdown, giving your team a better chance to defeat the enemy before the timer runs out. His personal damage is also not low, with his Skill effective against single targets and his Ultimate effective against groups.
Top 1: Aglaea
No doubt, the eternal god! In regular gameplay, Aglaea is just an ordinary DPS. But in the Currency Wars mode, Aglaea is undoubtedly the number one DPS, only needing 2 pairs of Speed Boots, combined with the 5 Energy and 3 Day Demigod synergies, she can dominate the entire field.

Aya is the most useful character for climbing ranks in Currency Wars; even the trial version is very strong. When Currency Wars was updated in Version 3.8, Aglaea was not nerfed, which is the best news for free-to-play players.
The above characters may not perform very impressively in regular gameplay, but they are all very effective in Currency Wars, mastering them makes climbing ranks not a dream. So, have you played these characters? What are your usage tips? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments~
