HSR Version 4.4 Himeko · Nova Top 4 Team Comps: How to Pair Teammates Reasonably?

With the release of Himeko · Nova, Trailblazers have grown very fond of her. I also believe that Trailblazers have already noticed Himeko · Nova is a character with very flexible team composition options, with a great many teammates to choose from. However, this also makes team building more brain-burning, so today let's talk about Himeko · Nova's team compositions.

Team 1: Himeko · Nova + Sparkle + Sunday + Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

The biggest advantage of this team comp is its simplicity—Himeko · Nova doesn't need to worry about SPD tuning at all, and even SPD substats are useless stats.

Sparkle and Sunday both focus on stacking high SPD. Sparkle just needs to be slightly faster than Sunday. After Sparkle pulls, Sunday pulls, giving Himeko · Nova a lot of turns. This not only allows her to actively use her support skill but also refreshes teammates' support skill usage counts. Sunday can also regenerate energy for Himeko · Nova, and Sunday and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae have synergy as well.

The downside is that Himeko · Nova's CRIT DMG multiplier bucket is too high, causing some dilution, which means her burst damage isn't as high.

Team 2: Himeko · Nova + Sparkle + Trailblazer (Remembrance) + Huohuo / Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

In this lineup, Sparkle was given away for free before, so Trailblazers should all have her. If you don't have Sunday, you can replace him with Trailblazer (Remembrance), who can also provide action advance—the True Damage multiplier bucket is even better than Sunday's CRIT DMG multiplier bucket. However, Trailblazer (Remembrance)'s action advance is unstable, and ineffective advances may occur during battle, especially on auto. Because Trailblazer (Remembrance) enables the "Companion Protocol: Verdict" state, the sustain slot can use Huohuo, whose Ultimate provides team-wide energy regeneration. Of course, Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae can still be used as well.

In summary, the Verdict state recommends a double-action-advance team comp. Single-action-advance lineups, such as using Sparkle + Tribbie, under the same investment level perform worse than double-action-advance comps.

Team 3: Himeko · Nova + Sparkle + Mortenax Blade / Tribbie / Cerydra + Welt

The condition for triggering the extra skill in the "Companion Protocol: Decimation" state is the number of enemies attacked, so it can only be played in multi-target scenarios. In single-target situations, the Verdict state is still better. Although the teammates who can activate the Decimation state include March 7th, Evernight, Himeko, and Welt, the only one actually suitable to use is Welt.

However, Welt is, after all a standard banner character, and comes with several issues: he needs E4, his debuff coverage rate is low, etc. In order for Himeko · Nova to still receive enough buffs, you need to play a 3-support-1 setup, adding one more support character. Sparkle is still recommended — she's free and easy to use. The other support should be a character that frequently attacks multiple enemies, such as Mortenax Blade, Tribbie, or Cerydra. Mortenax Blade is tanky and has a taunt state, making the team more survivable. Mortenax Blade's Technique conflicts with Himeko · Nova's Technique, so it's recommended to use Himeko · Nova's Technique instead.

The Decimation state has a higher ceiling potential. The teammates (except Welt) are relatively tanky, making them naturally suited for a 3-support-1 setup. The multiplier buckets are hardly diluted, allowing Himeko · Nova to deal very high damage.

Team 4: Himeko · Nova + Cerydra / Mortenax Blade / Tribbie (pick any 2 out of 3) + Welt

Team 4 is a lineup that completely abandons action-advance characters, only using support characters with frequent multi-target attacks to quickly charge the Decimation state, allowing Himeko · Nova to attack enemies with her extra support skill. It is suitable for high-investment Himeko · Nova, e.g., E2S1. Cerydra can support Himeko · Nova because the support skill counts as a Skill, benefiting from Cerydra's buffs and also being duplicable.

Summary

In the Verdict state, Himeko · Nova should run a double-action-advance team to secure the floor. In the Decimation state, run an action-advance + multi-target attack combo, or double multi-target attack, for a higher ceiling. So how did you build your Himeko · Nova, and what insights do you have to share?
