Honkai: Star Rail has recently been updated to Version 3.8. In this version, Trailblazers witness The Dahlia restoring the memories of Penacony, thereby resolving the doubts left from Versions 2.0 to 2.3. According to player statistics, Version 3.8 resolves at least 16 unresolved plot points, making it worthy of the title "Penacony's ultimate concluding chapter".

This memory restoration is presented from Firefly's perspective during her Dreamdive, and it also unveils the first foreshadowing: how Firefly, who cannot dream, managed to enter Penacony.

Previously, the Penacony storyline suggested that Firefly stowed away. In reality, Silver Wolf procured a discarded Dreamdive device and paid a significant price to secure Firefly this opportunity to enter Lesley Dean's Synesthesia Dreamscape. In the "Myriad Celestia" PV "Exotale: Scene 8", there is a scene showing Firefly lying in a life-support capsule. Based on her attire, this likely corresponds to the moment Firefly began her Dreamdive.

The second foreshadowing is the promise between Firefly and the Trailblazer. After entering the dream, she mentioned the "promise of reunion." This was a promise made between the Trailblazer (during their time with the Stellaron Hunters) and her. This foreshadowing was also mentioned in Version 3.0, when Oronyx glimpsed the Trailblazer's memories from before the Stellaron was implanted. The Firefly of the past made this promise: when reuniting with the amnesiac Trailblazer, they should pretend to be strangers.

The third foreshadowing is the message sent by Sparkle using a doll in Version 2.3. It mentioned that someone paid a high price to hire Sparkle to come to Penacony as a director and even shared the "script" with her as part of the deal to assist Firefly in safely completing her three deaths.

In the Version 3.8 storyline, Silver Wolf revealed to Firefly that she had hired a helper to infiltrate Penacony in advance to gather information. However, before she could tell Firefly who it was, their conversation was cut short. Nevertheless, by combining these two pieces of information, it's not difficult to deduce that the helper Silver Wolf hired was Sparkle.

The fourth piece of foreshadowing concerns The Dahlia. Her appearance was actually hinted at earlier in Firefly's storyline. During Firefly's first death, when Black Swan examined Firefly's memory phantom, she discovered a special companion. This mystery was unraveled in the Version 3.8 storyline: that companion was The Dahlia.

Furthermore, in the Version 2.1 storyline, when Black Swan was investigating the memory of Acheron's music box, she found it had been erased. Then, a voice from the memory spoke, identifying herself as Constance, and told Black Swan to enjoy the festival on her behalf. Finally, when breaking Ena's Dream, Black Swan mentioned needing to thank the other Memokeepers. It seems that although The Dahlia never appeared directly during the Penacony storyline, her presence was actually everywhere.

What's particularly interesting is that in the credit roll at the end of the Version 3.8 main storyline, the "Extra" role is listed as Constance, and the character for "group" is circled. This strongly implies that The Dahlia can alter people's perception—in the story, she can literally act like anyone. This is truly a "group" performance in the most literal sense.

Other unresolved plot points include how Firefly survived, the truth behind Robin's death, and where Aventurine went after being struck by Acheron. Due to space limitations, we won't delve into each one here. Everyone can uncover the specifics by experiencing the game's story firsthand.

Overall, the Version 3.8 storyline has drawn a perfect conclusion to the Penacony narrative arc. The writing team of HSR has indeed proven themselves trustworthy.
