HSR Version 4.5 Team Comp Planning — Elation Team Has Even Higher Ceiling!

Now, team-building in Honkai: Star Rail increasingly emphasizes coordination between characters — only with a well-built team can you have power. Today let's talk about the future pull planning for each team comp.

Elation Team: Wait for Sustain Slot, then wait for Nihilux.

HSR Elation Team

The characteristic of the Elation team is that the more Elation characters producing Punchline on the team, the stronger the team becomes, so the final team comp must be all-Elation characters. Currently, the Elation team still lacks an Elation sustain slot, which might be Pearl in version 4.6. Also, Nihilux is the Elation Aeon Aha, and she will certainly be on the Elation path and join the Elation team.

However, we don't yet know Nihilux's role and skills, nor do we know who she will replace. Also, Nihilux won't be coming out that soon, so there's no need to rush — just wait patiently.

Mortenax Blade - Ashveil Team: Can pull for Aventurine • Waveflair

HSR Mortenax Blade Ashveil Team

The advantage of the Blade-Ashveil team is that all members are DPS, and their high-frequency attacks are very effective against enemies with counting mechanics. If you like Aventurine • Waveflair, you can pull him to join this team. Not only will the team be strong, but you can also free up Tribbie or Robin • Summeretto for other teams. If you don't plan to pull Aventurine • Waveflair, using Tribbie or Robin • Summeretto as the team's support slot also works. With Eidolons, they become even stronger.

Himeko • Nova Team: Wait for Decimation teammates

HSR Himeko • Nova Team

When Himeko • Nova is in AoE content, the Decimation mode is stronger than the Verdict mode. Currently, Himeko • Nova's Decimation teammates are mainly March 7th of The Hunt or Welt, neither of which is perfect. However, only Astral Express crew members can help activate Himeko • Nova's Decimation mode. From this perspective, Himeko • Nova's new Decimation teammate can only be Welt's alternative version or March 7th's next alternative version?

Remembrance Team: Already Perfect

HSR Remembrance Team

Whether using Robin • Summeretto or Cyrene as the support teammate, the Remembrance team is already perfect. Each character's skills synergize well together, providing both AoE and single-target damage, strong survivability, and comfortable gameplay. However, in terms of damage numbers, the Remembrance team has lost its advantage over the new teams from Binary Paradise. So there's no need to add more Eidolons now, unless it's for Robin • Summeretto's Eidolons, which can also let her fit into other teams.

Break Team: Already Perfect

HSR Break Team

The Break team is also very complete — it has a DPS, a dedicated support, and a dedicated sustain slot. Even if you tried to design a new character to join the Break team, you wouldn't know what to design anymore. In environments with low survivability pressure, you can swap Lingsha for a support character to further increase Firefly's damage.

Phainon Team: Get Phainon's E2 or pull Cerydra

HSR Phainon Team

Phainon has many viable support characters. The latest combo of Cerydra + Robin • Summeretto + Cyrene is already very good. However, E0 Phainon is only average in strength right now. If you truly love playing Phainon, E2 Phainon is his complete form.

DoT Team: Already Relatively Complete

HSR DoT Team

The DoT team is also quite complete. Although a dedicated DoT sustain slot would be better, it probably won't come out in the short term. Currently, there's no sign of new DoT-system characters either. DoT teams still rely more on the environment — for example, the second stage of this Apocalyptic Shadow is quite good.

By knowing which team comps you enjoy playing, you can plan which characters to pull next. So which teams are you mainly playing now?
